Vandiver Family Farms is a multigenerational farm in Houston, Missouri. Our meat-chickens are farm raised and rotated to fresh pasture daily. We do not add antibiotics or hormones to our chickens resulting in a more natural and healthy finished product. New chicks are received and we process our mature chickens every two weeks so we can offer fresh chicken throughout the growing season.
From Our Pasture to Your Table
Pricing: $3.75 per pound. Whole chickens are between 4.5-6 pounds, final price will be determined at the time of sale.
Our whole, frozen chickens are available anytime by pick-up or delivery in the Houston area. Whole, never-frozen chickens are available the day after processing with a reservation.

A Healthy Farm
Having a regenerative and sustainable farm is important. Rotating our chickens daily is beneficial to our pastures and beneficial for the chickens and beneficial for our cattle. The chickens fertilize the pasture, the grass become more nutrient rich for the cattle, the cattle fertilize the pasture ensuring fresh, healthy forage for the chickens, and so on…
